John Strand is the owner of Elmwood Archery in Pewaukee, Wi and is the head coach of Team Elmwood Archery JOAD and Adult Training Programs . John's Students have enjoyed much success including several State, Sectional, and National Titles, and State Record’s.

John is a Level 2 USA Archery coach and a certified USA  Archery Instructor trainer that has been involved in the sport of Archery for over 30 years and has extensive training in the art of coaching, mentoring,  John has won many titles both indoor and outdoor  throughout his shooting career and recently placed 1st at the 2019 NFAA Outdoor Target National’s shooting compound. John has had extensive training in and a vast amount of experience in teaching and coaching archers several styles of archery and across a wide range of both age and skill levels.
